Course: sprint R4, slalom R4 (according to IRF rules)
Saturday: right artificial course – entry to left course during race forbidden!

Presented Work of the Sustainability Committee of the International Rafting Federation

An expert forum entitled „Recreational programs in the function of health“ organized by the Association „Sport for All“, Belgrade, under the auspices of the „City Secretariat for Sports“, was successfully held on Friday, March 10, according to the presented program. Several interesting lectures from a wide range of sports, recreation and physical education were held within the forum.
The expert forum is primarily organized for the purposes of licensing sports experts.

 The Rafting and Water Tourism Federation of Latvia, the “Vienkārši” club invites you to the Water Tourism Competition “Amata 59”! Competitions in the Amata river actually take place from 1963, but officially – from 1964. Since 2001, the Amata competition has been held every year, and since 2003 it has been an annual event and a stage of the Latvian Water Tourism Championship. The competition program:

IRF’s Rafting Operator Accreditation growing

The Rafting Operator Accreditation (ROA) is a credential issued by the International Rafting Federation (IRF) to operators that offer rafting guided or instructional services. The purpose of the system is to provide a means of recognizing operators that meet or exceed internationally accepted safety, environmental and quality standards. The process consists of a period of self-evaluation against published standards, a peer-review by an expert committee, and a site-visit by a trained assessor.
The first accreditation went to Cardiff International White Water (CIWW).

 “After a break of 3 years, we are happy to host the Rafting Championships Wildalpen again this year.
In addition to the Austrian National Championships, IRF European Cup races will also take place in Wildalpen.
We would be very happy to welcome as many of our friends as possible in Wildalpen again. We are also looking forward to see many new teams at the start.”

We are very happy to confirm that the European Rafting Championship will take place in Czech Republic, on beautiful river Vltava, from August 21st till August 28th, in categories: R4 + R6 / U19M, U19W, U23M, U23W, OM, OW, MM, MW.
Each country shall inform the organizer of the number of starting teams in each R4 and R6 category by ̇March ̇31st, ̇2023.
