The amount of GTE workshops is making a significant come back post covid which is comforting news. I was shocked to receive a call asking to assist on a GTE workshop in Norway in early November.

Instantly I said yes & then I found my self mentally visualizing where I had packed my cold weather rafting kit. I live in Finland & spend a large part of each summer rafting in Iceland. So you would think I am used to the cold!

Do you want to become an international rafting guide?

We invite you to the qualification course that opens career prospects in adventure tourism.

You can work either with the rafting operators in the country, or almost anywhere, on five continents!

The course will be in English and is supported by the main instructor of the Austrian rafting federation together with a Romanian instructor.

The course has 2 chapters:

– IRF (International Rafting Federation) guide workshop

Instruction for new or skilled raft guides who wish to bring or update their technical level to IRF standards

– Examination for qualifications/awards up to Raft Guide/Trip Leader level II/III,

Dates: April 3-7th, 2023

Location: Arca Rafting Camp.
