48th Una Regata. After a two year break, everyone was looking forward to the Una Regata that lasted from 27 to 30 July. Three full days on water. Well done organizers
United Trought Sports 3rd World Youth Festival 2022.
Festival dates 14-20 November. Registration opens 7 October. We invite our Rafting Family to take a part.
We would like to know the RIVER GUARDIANS, who do it quietly and selflessly. You can send us your suggestions and names of wonderful guardians.
Very, Very HAPPY 25 YEARS of IRF. Let's continue in the same direction, and be stronger. Cause WE ARE RAFTING FAMILY.
It was a challenging weekend at EC Lipno, The organizers of the race are alreadylooking forward to welcoming all the competitors next year ERC 2023.

A Challenging Weekend at EC Lipno

The traditional Czech Cup and European Cup in downriver race took place in the Czech Republic last
weekend. Under the Lipno dam, rafters from 4 different countries (CZE, ITA, GER, JAP) have met,
including several medalists from this year’s World Rafting Championship in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The course under Lipno dam is one of the most difficult and at the same time the most beautiful
courses in general.

RAFTING SINCE 1997!

The very first love for competitive rafting was shown back in 1989, when Russians and Americans joined forces and organized the first rafting competitions – up to 50 teams competed in Siberia (1989), USA (1990), Costa Rica (1991) and Turkey (1993).
The only logical step after that was the establishment of an International Rafting Federation.
The initial key areas for this representation were Guide Training & Education and Sport & Competitions.

We need more RIVER GUARDIANS

In order to save the planet, and leave a clean one behind, we need more river guardians. One person is not enough for one river, everyone needs to know that they are the owner of the title of “guardian”.
The river from the source to the mouth has freedom and its own nature, where it allows us to use all the beauty.
Garbage dumps are not the result of climate change, we need to be guardians of our environment.

UTS WORLD YOUTH FESTIVAL 2022

The IRF is proud to announce that we have been invited again to participate in the United Through Sport (UTS) 3rd World Youth Festival 2022!
The WYF is a unique celebration of youth, sports, regional history and culture. It is to encourage
an inclusive and educational approach to keep connected, active and united.
UTS World Youth Festival 2022 will be in partnership with the APEC 2022 convention where this
year they will have 3 different events combined into one.

48th Una Regatta

 After a two-year break, everyone was looking forward to the Una regatta that lasted from 27 to 30 July.. This is the 48th Una Regatta, happens once a year and people in Bihać love this tradition, so they show up in a large number to meet and greet the Una Regata participants.
We started in Martin Brod, to Štrbački Buk, to Bihac and then to Bosanska Krupa.
Three full days on the water, covering 100km.
