How to get there: Fly to Ednburgh.Best to use own transport but bueses and trains go from Edinburgh to Pitlochry and the river is 2 miles from the town . We can collect from the bus and train station
River description: Grade 3/4 pool drop river that is dammed. It is only suitable for rafting on 17 weekends of the year between June and Sept when the dam releases. These are also the best time to kayak although it does get kayakers all year round. The river on full release is a very challenging run in raft or kayak and has been used for several international kayak and rafting competitions attracting over 400 taking part.
