The Czech Boaters Union have concluded a contract for a live broadcast via the Internet with Střižna.cz. “It will be the first ever live broadcast of a full rafting championship on this level,” says Libor Polák, chairman of the organizing committee Euro 2012.
Complete Sprint, Head 2 Head and Slalom, the most attractive event, will be transmitted. “Results from similar events abroad usually come with major delays, but now viewers will have them immediately, including video and audio,” says Martin Procházka, director of the race.
Radek Balvín (Střižna.cz) describes the range of transmission: “In three days we will broadcast approximately 18 hours of live transmission, we will shoot with six cameras, with professional commentary, television graphics, repetitive images, jingles, etc., everything that belongs to a professional transmission.”
If any of the viewers will not be able to watch a broadcast live, it shouldn’t be a problem, because “a complete record will be available in our archive immediately after the transmission,” adds Radek Balvín.
